Finding the Arpeggiator inside Logic Pro

The arpeggiator tool in Logic Pro is a fun way to add evolving, repetitive note patterns to your synth ideas. It’s been buried fairly deep in the menus in the latest versions of Logic Pro.

The steps

  1. Select a software instrument track, then go to “Smart Controls” (or hit B).

  2. Click the arpeggiator button: it’s on the far right of the Smart Controls pane, shaped like a pyramid.

  3. From there, select the dropdown menu that opens, then “Open Arpeggiator” to open the plugin.
