The anniversary of “like a tooth”

A special mastering portfolio highlight today: the anniversary of like a tooth, by one of our local Phoenix legends Jordan Tompkins:

The album art for like a tooth.

Jordan’s been a multi-instrumentalist here in town for many years: we first performed together back in the day with a neo-folk group called The Foster Family Band, and since then he’s led many of his own groups, as well as been a supporting player throughout our local scene as one of the best drummers out there.

This particular album is a fascinating mix of strings, ambient music, riffy-rock, metal, and more. It’s well worth a listen. I had the great pleasure of working on this one as the mastering engineer.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for a vinyl re-release coming down the pipe in the future 🤞.

Stream it a bunch and tell your friends, and hopefully we get there!
